Key Features
Quality improvement and operations development require continuous monitoring and comparison of carefully selected indicators and key metrics. Working together with elderly care professionals we have developed the Clarity Elderly Care quality and performance indicators – enabling leaders, managers and care professionals to develop their team’s quality, processes, and effectiveness by improving transparency through the whole organization.
The quality and performance indicators enable tracking of key quality and outcome results across time and target development efforts in the areas which require most focus. The indicators have been selected based on years of experience of elderly care professionals. The indicators are based on data of assessments that measure the care customers’ functional ability and performance, e.g. by the RAI assessment system.
Measuring and analyzing the service and client structure, operational performance, costs, and care quality in elderly care services is crucial for ensuring sustainable, high-quality care. By understanding these factors, providers can identify inefficiencies, allocate resources more effectively, and improve care outcomes. Data-driven insights enable targeted improvements, support staff optimization, and ensure that services meet both the regulatory standards and the evolving needs of an aging population. This ultimately leads to better care experiences for the elderly, cost-effective service delivery, and enhanced transparency for stakeholders.
Comprehensive and clearly presented metrics help care professionals understand operational strengths and areas for improvement. They inspire and encourage understanding of goals, striving for better results, and making progress visible. Decision-making is based on shared data and metrics.
Clarity Elderly Care services regularly provide clients with insights and additional analysis on how to improve the operational model based on our expert analysis of the data. The analyses, based on the quality and performance metrics, are reviewed and discussed with the management team or the entire staff.
Our professional team consists of data professionals, data scientists, and experts in health and social care management consulting. They are happy to support clients in their challenges in elderly care – with the consistent goal of improving decision-making and overall quality of the services.
Benchmarking offers decision-making support based on long-term monitoring and comparison of key metrics, such as quality, productivity, and the use of resources, to improve operations. It is also an effective way of sharing best practices across regions, municipalities, and care teams – leading to better quality and performance.
Personnel availability and adequacy for providing high-quality services is one of the biggest challenges in delivering services for the elderly. Through Clarity Elderly Care, you gain transparency into staffing sufficiency, timely allocation, and operational model development. We provide insights and visibility into how much staff is needed in the near future to meet customer needs, and how caregivers should be optimally allocated between different regions, teams, and a possible caregiver pool.
