The Finnish National Seminar on Value-Based Healthcare 2024 held on 6th September in Helsinki

The Finnish National Seminar on Value-Based Healthcare 2024 will be held on 6th September in Helsinki. The seminar program includes presentations and discussions on different aspects of value-based healthcare and effectiveness from both national and regional perspectives. The program includes a follow-up on the national situation, experiences from well-being services counties, effectiveness of social services, and the use of quality register and effectiveness data. The seminar speakers include a group of experts, researchers, decision-makers, and actors in the social and health sector.

We will hear the keynote from international guest speaker Filipe Costa from Portugal. Costa is a professor at VBHC NOVA SBE EXEC Education and he will talk about VBHC from theory to reality – 10 years Experience from Portugal in VBHC.

The event can be attended on site or remotely and it is free of charge for participants. Please, however, note that the program is in Finnish, except for the international key note.

The seminar is organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (STM), the Ministry of Finance (VM), THL Quality Registers, the Impact Association and the Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG). Register by August 18th here.
