We are pleased to announce that Hanna Puhakka and Sanna Reponen joined Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG) in the beginning of March. Hanna Puhakka has been appointed Vice President, New Markets and she will be leading NHG’s growth in new business and markets especially internationally and will be located in Zurich, Switzerland. Sanna Reponen has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and she will be located in Helsinki, Finland. In addition to her role as COO Sanna will act as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Hanna has a background in consulting, start-up, and corporate environments working at the intersection of business and technology. She has built M&A-driven and organic growth in Terveystalo (largest private healthcare provider in Finland), leading businesses and designing services with measurable treatment outcomes while increasing employee and customer experience. She also has experience building Nordic health and biotech companies’ growth strategies and operational business models with a focus on international expansion. Hanna has a master’s degree from the Hanken School of Economics.

Sanna has broad experience in IT and consulting. In addition, throughout her career she has been in leadership and management roles related to various corporate functions from strategy work to financials management and human resources. She has driven large organizational changes as well as implemented new strategies. Her passion is in developing and improving both the business and the community in which she is working. Sanna has worked in Accenture, the Finnish Defense Forces, a Finnish software company (TJ Group), and for the past four years as the Chief Development Officer in Fintraffic (state-owned traffic management services provider).
