The potential of artificial intelligence in oral healthcare is immense. At NHG, we are currently developing new AI-powered solutions as part of data-driven management in oral healthcare. Our goal is to enable more effective care, better allocation of resources, and smoother decision-making.
We have identified three particularly inspiring focus areas where we have already gained valuable experience and new insights:

AI-based text mining – a stronger data foundation
A large share of critical information in dental healthcare is captured in free-text fields. We are developing AI-based text mining solutions that make it possible to identify and structure relevant information from patient records, such as lifestyle factors, self-care practices, and observations related to treatment needs. This opens an entirely new data foundation to support management and service development.
Predictive Analytics – more targeted decision-making
We apply predictive models to assess treatment needs, under- and overtreatment, and resource allocation. Predictive analytics helps identify deviations and supports the development of more cost-effective and consistent treatment practices.
A data-driven management chatbot for dental healthcare – faster access to the right information
Our GenAI-based data-driven management chatbot for oral healthcare enables users to search and analyze information using natural language by leveraging benchmarking databases and other data sources. The aim is to make analytics from NHG’s online reports more easily and quickly accessible. The platform allows users to perform tailored analyses of oral healthcare operations simply by asking questions.
A shared objective:
Providing the right care to the right patients at the right time – effectively and sustainably.
