Petteri Lankinen appointed Senior Partner at NHG

Petteri Lankinen joined Nordic Healthcare Group in April as a Senior Partner. Before joining NHG, Petteri worked at the Satakunta Wellbeing Services County, where he was Director for Specialized Health Care and Hospital Services, and as Chief Medical Officer. Before the health and social care reform, he acted as the Chief Executive Officer, and before that as the Chief Medical Officer and Director for Health Care Services at Satakunta Hospital District. Previously, he has worked in various medical and management roles. Petteri holds a Ph.D. in medicine and is an Adjunct Professor in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Turku, and EMBA from Aalto University.

“I am happy to be part of a growing and internationalizing NHG. Assessing and developing the effectiveness of healthcare, targeting treatments, and creating new operating models through service design, scientific research and the extensive database available will become increasingly important now and in the future. NHG’s versatile capabilities can support public social and healthcare services, private healthcare providers, and the pharmaceutical industry. I want to bring my expertise and experience to NHG’s healthcare services in Finland, and also to the Nordic countries and internationally.”, Petteri commented.

“Petteri brings strong medical and healthcare management skills to the NHG team. Petteri will play a critical role in NHG’s projects related to the new well-being services counties, healthcare benchmarking, and measurement of value-based healthcare, both in Finland and internationally.”, commented Vesa Komssi, Executive Vice President of Advisory Services at NHG.

Welcome to the NHG team Petteri!
