The healthcare sector is evolving rapidly and stakeholders like yourself must navigate complex decision-making – and support your position with solid data. High-quality data and insights are of the essence!

Healtcare reform as a game-changer
Nordic Healthcare Group collaborates with public and private stakeholders in the Nordic healthcare sector. In Finland, we advised the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health on the Finnish Health and Social Services Reform, which integrated primary healthcare, social services, hospital functions, and paramedic services. Services from nearly 300 entities were transformed into 23 new Wellbeing Services Counties.
In the autumn of 2024, Denmark adopted a similar healthcare reform inspired by the Finnish process. The Danish reform aims at reshaping priorities, funding, and sector decision-making, and this creates challenges and opportunities for everyone working in the healthcare sector.
The transformation requires stakeholders to adapt quickly, understand implications, and shape the most important outcomes.
And credible data is crucial to navigate these changes!
Nordic Healthcare Group aids life science companies, patient organisations, and unions in identifying the impacts, opportunities, and obstacles of the reform.
Why evidence and data drive public affairs’ success
At Nordic Healthcare Group, we assist healthcare companies in leveraging evidence-based public and government affairs. But different stakeholders need different data. We support, for instance, market access, submissions, register-based research, and real-world evidence (RWE) in all Nordic countries for life science companies seeking inclusion in different pharmaceutical or other prioritisation/submission frameworks.
National agencies may demand patient-centred outcome data, while policy makers focus on cost-effectiveness. Some analyses, like economic impact studies, overlap across audiences, creating a cohesive narrative. Nordic Healthcare Group’s critical approach makes a difference in the healthcare sector, which revolves around evidence-based decisions.
Decisions in healthcare are not made in isolation. Multiple stakeholders weigh competing priorities, and evidence-based insights are the key to recognising an organisation’s contribution. High-quality evidence builds trust and ensures that the voice of the company is valued. Evidence-based advocacy goes beyond immediate issues – it lays the groundwork for sustainable outcomes that benefit all stakeholders.
Nordic Healthcare Group uses its expertise to help clients:
- Analyse the problem and its position
- Identify and map relevant stakeholders
- Create tailored advocacy strategies
- Conduct health economic analyses
- Provide patient outcome data
- Evaluate and monitor outputs and impacts
Why evidence-based public and government affairs are the way forward
All companies and organisations have legitimate demands and wishes for public health services. Whether it is commercial expectations for innovative medicine or specific efforts for patient groups, dialogs concerning differences usually occur without conflicts in the Nordic countries, where trust is high and access to decision-makers is easy. However, planning, executing, and follow-up is crucial for success.
To sum up
By embracing evidence-based public and government affairs, life science companies can:
- Build trust and credibility with evidence-backed positions.
- Influence critical decision-making processes.
- Drive sustainable, long-term solutions that benefit patients, healthcare systems, and the industry.
Let’s work together to turn your data into action and make your voice heard in shaping the future of healthcare.
