Eva Nilsson Bågenholm appointed to NHG’s Board of Directors

We are glad to announce that Eva Nilsson Bågenholm has been appointed to Nordic Healthcare Group’s (NHG) Board of Directors on 25th May 2023. Welcome Eva!

As a physician by training Eva’s main focus has been to develop and improve health and social care services, especially by using digital tools and data. Eva has a broad competence and has worked at the Sahlgrenska University hospital, the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, the Swedish Medical Association and the Nordic care company Humana AB. Eva has served on many different boards, until last year she was the chairman of the Association of private care providers in Sweden. She is presently the vice chairman of Oriola Oy and on the board of four Swedish companies.

”The main focus in my professional career has been to develop and improve the health and social care services. I strongly feel that NHG has the same purpose and I’m very much looking forward to support their continuing work,” Eva commented.

NHG is excited about the addition of Eva to the Board of Directors. Eva’s background as a medical doctor and her broad experience in reforming national and international healthcare systems reinforces NHG’s new vision and supports our role in being a key thought leader and change agent in the Nordics and across Europe.

“I warmly welcome Eva to NHG’s Board of Directors. Her strong medical background and broad experience in health and social care in the Nordics and beyond will add valuable insights to our team. I’m excited of Eva joining the board and of working together with her in supporting NHG’s vision realization,” Juko Hakala, chairman of the board, NHG, commented.
