Nordic Healthcare Group has been actively developing Helsinki Medical Imaging Center (HMIC) toward an efficient public enterprise. Areas of cooperation have included several instances of process, governance and financial development. The aim of the work has been to help HMIC become and remain a service-oriented and cost-effective company. As a result, HMIC has implemented a process based organization and modernized its financial management in terms of e.g. pricing, investment appraisal and cost accounting. In addition, Nordic Healthcare Group provides HMIC with ongoing flexible consulting services for minor analyses and development projects.
